Recycled Cotton Sari Kantha
Kanthas are hand-stitched throws made in India from recycled saris. They consist of three layers of sari fabric hand-stitched together. Each one is unique and has its character, which may include small dye marks or spots. Some might feature charming little patches, pieced or repaired fabrics, fading, or small holes that reveal the center fabric. These “flaws” are part of their story; we refer to them as character, not flaws.
They are the perfect travel blanket, couch covering, wall tapestry, fabric yardage - the list goes on.
Each kantha is unique.
